Connecting Obsessions- Sample Reviews

Some individual comments

S.K. (January 2015).

I thoroughly enjoyed 'Connecting Obsessions', it's good to read something really different, very unusual plot and it kept me guessing, but just the 'right' amount. I was intrigued to the very end, would highly recommend and hope others enjoy it as much as I did.

C.H.  (September 2014).

I often walk my dogs with Neil and Leah and read the novel in draft form then discussed it at length during the walks. I was seriously impressed and enjoyed the book enormously. I like the way the 'plot' evolves and answers the questions that are puzzling. Well done, Neil I am looking forward to the next one.

And, finally, our own thoughts.

Connecting Obsessions can be described as a science fiction story, which is correct, but it is not strong sci-fi. That element is only there to make the story work.

This is romance with a twist, a mystery story, and a slightly different take on the topical subject of climate change, all of which is weaved in to an engaging story as the author builds the various strands of his story to carry the reader along - not always in the direction that they are expecting. Story telling at its best.

There is much that will appeal to both male and female readers, and you don't have to be a fan of science fiction to enjoy the story. Characters you will care about, humour, sadness, opinions that will make you think.

An immensely enjoyable read.
